The English Song Weekend

This is a weekend for solo singers. It takes place at Farncombe Manor, near the village Broadway in the heart
of the Cotswolds, an idyllic venue in the heart of the countryside, usually in the summer months.

Over the weekend we study songs by British composers with no limit on style, age, or content!

Singers can bring up to six songs to work on, in a master class setting. We aim to discover the intricacies of melody and poetry in an informal and friendly setting.

 

We welcome singers, pianists, observers and all those who just like good food in beautiful surroundings, and who may like to listen to the concert that we present on the last night!

 

There may also be talks by guest speakers, and themed weekends on particular composers.
